Ep062: David Jurek

Today on the Listing Agent Lifestyle podcast we're talking with David Jurek from Hundred Mile House, British Columbia up in Canada.

We had a great conversation. David's in a small market, a kind of resort, or a cottage area, where people are coming from a few hours away to have cottages on the lake.

We talked a lot about the advantages he has as a competing broker with a team of other agents working with him, and how to balance that personal production with being a leader and rallying to get the best from his team.

We covered three very specific things he can do to support everybody and benefit from the 'rising tide' that will lift the whole team.

I'm excited to see how it all plays out. He's got a lot of balls in play, and he's making all the right moves. I'm confident this is going to be a great experiment for him.

Ep058: Tony Robbins part 1

Today on the Listing Agent Lifestyle podcast we have the first part of two very special episodes.

I was fortunate to be part of a program with Tony Robbins where he created an audio and video series called the New Money Masters, and I was one of the 10 guests he had.

We got together here in Winter Haven. We played some golf and then recorded a two hour interview where we talking about a lot of the things that fit in with in our Listing Agent Lifestyle.

We talked about my whole philosophy of ‘I know I'm being successful when’ in defining success, as well of how to apply our profit activator thinking towards real estate and being a realtor.

I think you're really going to enjoy these episodes. I've got to know Tony over the years, we've played golf together and I'm very excited that I get to share this first part with you today.

Ep057: Lorne Cooper

Today on the Listing Agent Lifestyle podcast we're talking with Lorne Cooper, another fellow Canadian who's from New Market Ontario, not far from where I grew up.

Loren has been in real estate for about seven years and has some really great traction. We talked a lot about implementing some of the strategies for getting listings and multiplying his listings.

The episode really went in a nice direction of realizing that picking a category like townhouses to dominate is going to be really valuable for him as he builds on some of the work he’s already done. It was nice to hear the light bulb come on as he realized the potential.

It’s going to be really interesting to watch everything unfold for Loren.

Today on the Listing Agent Lifestyle podcast we're talking with Willie Gallegos from Central Valley, California, where he's been in real estate for over 25 years now and runs a nice team that he built.

We started by talking about all the elements of the Listing Agent Lifestyle including getting and multiplying listings, and then we hit on what may be the biggest opportunity in his business.

Wille has a property management division. They manage 100 properties, and we spent a good portion of this call really unpacking the goldmine that could be in his business already.

There is real opportunity for him to be a Market Maker here, and as you'll hear, this is one of those idea gusher's that just keeps giving.

You're really going to enjoy this episode, especially if you have, or have thought about opening a property management division.

Ep055: Diane Lightsey

Today on the Listing Agent Lifestyle podcast we're talking with Diane Lightsey and this is a fun call because Diane works with me on our GoGo Agent team. She’s also a realtor and we've had her activate her license so we have a living laboratory to experiment, test, and document all of the programs that we talk about in GoGoAgent.com.

We been doing this for four months and this episode, where we’re picking it up, is  right where we left off with the six months to six figures progress with LJ Lewis. We're at exactly the same point and Diane has just got her first few listings. Things are starting to gain momentum.

We talked through some of the execution of the programs so far, and some of the plans for multiplying her listings and starting to find buyers.

This episode is perfect timing for you, if you're getting your plans together for the New Year and starting to think about how are you going to take off in 2019.

Ep054: Miguel Mendez

Today on the Listing Agent Lifestyle podcast we're talking with Miguel Mendez from Colorado.

You've heard me talking about choosing categories, target markets like lakefront homes, townhouses or ocean front condos, something you can use to find buyers without having to have any listings.

It's a subtle change, but it's something that once you really grasp the magic of it, allows you to create a great way to enter a new market even if you don't have any listings yet.

If you can start building a supply of potential buyers, a portfolio of people who are looking for lakefront homes or ocean front homes, you're a long way ahead of your competitors.

When you go and talk to someone about selling their house, you've got an opportunity now to say "I started looking for the buyer for your house 180 days ago". You can show them the type of marketing you've been doing and the list of people you've already generated. People looking for a home just like theirs.

So keep that in mind as you listen in to this conversation with Miguel.

Matt works with his wife, who's a successful realtor with about 60 transactions a year, and they're at the point now where they're interested in building a team. He had a lot of questions about how to apply our approach to team building, and whether anything would change, how they might do things differently with a team in place.

We also talked about marketing luxury homes, and the value of high end homes in their portfolio.

It was a really great conversation. We covered all the elements of the Listing Agent Lifestyle and I think you're really going to enjoy this episode.
